Experience the Future Art Leaders Program Tour at Mana Contemporary
Discover how the influential mentorship is sculpting tomorrow’s art leaders within the Jersey City community.
Mar 4, 2024 · 1 Minute ReadMana Contemporary’s Future Art Leaders Program, now in its second year, continues to offer high school juniors and seniors in Jersey City a unique mentorship experience within the vibrant arts sector. This initiative bridges the gap between artistic passion and professional reality by giving students a holistic view of the art industry through exposure to museums, galleries, and studios.
Collaborating closely with the JC Arts program of Jersey City’s public schools, the program enriches participants with hands-on experiences, special projects, field trips, and guest lectures. This not only enhances their academic knowledge but also equips them with leadership skills essential for their future artistic endeavors.
The Spring tour on April 24th, from 10 am to 1 pm, marks the highlight of this mentorship program, presenting the growth and creativity of these young artists. Accessible to all and free, this showcase represents the united support of the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund, Mana Contemporary, the Monira Foundation, Jersey City public schools, and the City of Jersey City.
Our heartfelt thanks extend to all supporters, notably the JC Arts & Cultural Trust Fund for their grant backing.
